What counts as a conversation: one visitor session, start to finish. Multiple questions in one chat = 1 conversation. A session ends after 30 minutes of visitor inactivity; if the visitor returns later, that is a new conversation. AI conversations count only when a bot handles the interaction. Human-only chats do not consume AI quota. Blocks are pre-paid and auto-upgrade when you consistently exceed, so your invoice stays predictable and per-conversation overage is never the steady state. You can disable auto-upgrade and stay on pay-as-you-go at $0.08 / $0.06 / $0.04 if you prefer.
