"I can't find the button" ends when your agent sees the page your visitor sees. Co-Browse runs in the browser from the Velaro snippet your site already has. No app, no download, nothing extra to install.
Your agent watches the visitor's real page update live during the chat. The visitor stays in control, and your business controls who can use it.
Not a screenshot and not the chat widget. The agent sees the visitor's actual page with their fonts, charts, mouse movement and clicks, updated in under a second. The agent never clicks, types, scrolls or navigates on the visitor's page, and it follows the visitor from page to page without asking again.
The visitor sees an Allow or Decline prompt for every request. Nothing is captured before they click Allow, a bar shows while sharing is active, and Pause, Resume and Stop are always on, on every plan.
Form inputs are always masked. Card numbers and US Social Security numbers are redacted from page text before they leave the visitor's browser. Co-Browse Plus also redacts email addresses and US/Canada phone numbers. Tag anything else with the sensitive or no-record class, and checkout, payment, login and similar pages pause capture by default.
On Plus the agent can point, highlight and annotate right on the visitor's real page. The visitor sees an "agent is pointing" notice, and the drawing can't be clicked, so nothing on the page is operated by the agent.
The agent suggests a value, the visitor sees the field name and the full value, and must approve each fill. Passwords, cards, one-time codes and hidden or read-only fields are always blocked. Off until you switch it on.
Per-site settings for strict mask mode, protected pages, mobile opt-out, session length, idle stop, your own consent wording and who can start. Change them in Admin > Co-Browse, or ask Moshky. See how to tag sensitive content and what agents can and cannot do.
The agent requests Co-Browse from the conversation they are already in. Nothing for the visitor to download, and no extra script for you to add to your site.
Co-Browse is licensed per agent seat. Assign seats to specific agents or to everyone. Only the agent assigned to the conversation can view the session.
Every start, accept and stop is logged in the conversation thread. Session records show who, when, how long and the outcome, and a monthly counter on your usage page tracks volume. Set an optional monthly session cap per site.
